Morrissey is planning to resume his North American tour after being hospitalized with a severe sinusitis attack, leading to the postponement of shows in San Diego, Rancho Mirage, California, and Tucson, Arizona. The rescheduled dates are set for October 24, January 6, 2026, and October 21, respectively. Morrissey’s next scheduled show is in San Antonio on Thursday (May 8), with additional dates in Oklahoma, Missouri, Georgia, and Florida. Fans were informed of Morrissey’s health issues through an Instagram post on Saturday (May 3), which stated that the former Smiths frontman “contracted a severe sinusitis attack and was treated at Coronado Hospital in San Diego. Morrissey, the band and crew, are very appreciative of those who convey understanding at difficult moments during tours.” Morrissey’s previous shows have featured a selection of new songs from as-yet-unreleased albums, Bonfire of the Teenagers and Without Music the World Dies, although release dates for those projects remain uncertain.
